My most hated athletes of all time

5. Eli Manning - He seems like he is constantly whining and blaming everyone else for his horrid throws. He is always flailing his arms around and acting like a bitch on the field. Plus, Bobby makes excuses for him everytime he throws a god awful pass. If Asante Samuel could catch, he would of gagged away the Super Bowl.

4. Kevin Garnett - His "intensity" really pisses me off. Stop running around beating your chest incessantly. His game is soooo soft. All he does is shoot turn around jumpers and beat his chest. This video explains my loathing of this prick. http://ballhype.com/video/kevin_garnett_greatest_fights_smacks_and_screens_a/

3. Andres Nocioni - I just flat out hate this guy. His hair, his leg tattoo and goatee just piss me off. Not to mention he plays dirty and kind of sucks.

2. Ray Lewis - Another "intense" guy on my list. Leads the NFL annually in jumping on piles late and celebrating like he made the play. Plays for the Ravens. Murdered people.

1. Larry Hughes - Maybe the biggest prima donna in all of sports. This quote sums him up, "I was asked to sacrifice for the team to win and for everybody, I guess, get paid. That is what was told to me and I wasn’t happy with that." I had to watch this stiff for 2.5 years in Cleveland. He is allergic to contact and in love with his horrible jumper. Easily one of the most painful players to watch play basketball and he could care less about winning. He tops my list by a considerable margin.

Honorable Mentions - Paul Pierce, Dustin Pedroia, Rasheed Wallace, Kevin Youkilis, Bobby Jenks, AJ Pierzynski, Pau Gasol (if the Cavs play the Lakers in the Finals), Joey Porter, Brett Favre, and Tim Couch

There's some guys that are just fun to hate...

- Rasheed Wallace: I hate him because he wants me, as a Cleveland fan, to hate him. Its a mutual relationship and I wouldn't call this true hatred.
- Derek Jeter. Pretty boy Yankee, enough said. Maybe a little overrated. I don't think he's ever done anything "wrong" though.
- Carlos Boozer. Its true that I have a reason to hate him as a Cleveland fan but honestly I don't know what was really said behind closed doors and I think he just took advantage of an idiotic front office manuever. But when he comes back to Cleveland I love the "ovation" he receives. Plus he attended Puke University.
- Curt Schilling. He acts like he's an authority on everything, has an annoyingly dorky hair do, and sports and religion don't mix. So add Kurt Warner and Joe Gibbs for the later reason.

Other guys have actually done or said something that makes me hate them. Often these are athletes/sports figures that I would otherwise careless about or even like, but they just had to cross my line once...

Ricky Davis. Fabricating statistics is not okay with me. You play the game to win, not to garnish stats. Its okay to regard your own stats (something most athletes pretend they don't do), but doing something that isn't in the best interests of your own team for the sake of a statistic is NOT okay with me.

Same goes for Chris Paul. Different scenario, comparable crime. After his grandfather was visciously murdered, Paul scored 60 something points in his next high school game, the age of his grandfather. But he intentionally missed a free throw to accomplish this. If I were his grandpa I'd be spinning in my grave. All you classy gentledouches better pray I never get in shouting distance of him at a Cavs game.

Note that even though I "hate" Chris Paul, I actually enjoy seeing him succede. So I either don't really hate him or I have a warped approach to hatred.

Moving onto Kobe Bryant. While he hasn't done any specific thing, I can't stand his primadona attitude. His feud with Shaq rubs me the wrong way, and his contradictory attitude towards staying with the Lakers makes him a selfish attention hog. There's a certain fun factor that goes along with hating him as well.

Ricky Henderson deserves a mention cause he was such a pompus piece of shit after breaking the stolen base record.

Larry Hughes. I was unaware of some of the things Howarth said about him but I hate him because I'm a Cavs fan and he just plain SUCKED. Mo Williams is what Hughes was supposed to be for us.

I hate Michael Vick because I love dogs.

Karl Malone. Sure, I liked him in Utah but when he joined the Lakers there was an incident in the Delta Center where Kobe was mocked and the way Malone took offense to it in behalf of his newfound buttbuddy Kobe Bryant, I decided to hate him.

Now, onto my most hated.

The Steinbrenners. Mainly because of their grooming policies. And The way they threatened Joe Torrie with his job in the middle of the Cleveland series was a disgrace. Gotta respect them for the big spending, though. Paul Brown gets an honorable mention here for wanting the Browns to be "the Yankees of football" (in regard to classiness).

Brett Favre. I talked about fabricating stats before, and when you do it for the OTHER team, it gets that much worse. Onetime he broke down crying after an early season comeback WIN over the fact that he overcame alchoholism and sustained his wife or some shit. Plus, I can't think of an athlete that I have more fun hating. The medias love affair with him makes me sick but he seems to enjoy it. I call it throwing interceptions, he calls it "having fun".

Butch Davis. Everything from his face to his coaching nauseates me, but nothing is worse than his press conferences. When I'm throwing vulgar tantrums over a Browns loss and he tells me he's "proud" of his teams ratshit effort...that just doesn't help. Everything coming out of his mouth was sugarcoated and all he ever did was beat around the bush. The Browns sucked, he couldn't manage the clock worth a shit, and the hardest thing for him was the day he had to cut players. Go coach a fucking middle school team you pudgy toolbox.

Tony Dungy. Its okay that he rested his startes in the last game of 07. Whats not okay is that he didn't use a timeout at the end that would've given the Colts a shot at winning. And he looked like he was ready to give Jeff Fisher a blowjob after the game was over. You fuck over the Browns, I'll fuck over your dead son...IN HELL.

Art Modell for obvious reasons, but he isn't number 1 because I don't really know enough about the situation and I'll give him some benefit of the doubt that he had to do what he did atleast to some degree.

Mike Shitsheski. He coaches Puke, but thats just fun factor. Bitching at the cameron crazies, a legitimately great group of fans I might add, for starting a "you suck dick" chant at a ref named Richard is the reason I want to cut his face off.

Most hated: David Stern and Roger Goodell. Such racist shitstains for one. Fuck your dress codes, fuck your fines, penalties, and suspensions. All you care about is money, try letting athletes be humans.

Add BJ Mullins to my honorable mentions. His face just pisses me off.

1. Tom Brady - I am surprised he has yet to make a list. Yea yea, he's a fantastic quarterback, broke records, won rings, and is banging a supermodel, but that is precisely why he should make the cut on anyone but a Patriots fan's most hated athlete list. Buck Nasty and Silky Johnson would have a heyday with this pretty boy. Please refer to any of Tom Brady cocky fucking press conferences for further reasoning.

2. Christian Laettner - Again, I cannot believe this didn't make either one of your lists. I know you didn't live in Kentucky when it happened but Jesus Christ, I thought every article of Kentucky Wildcats clothing came standard with a pure hatred for this Pukie fucking dousche.

3. Bill Romanowski - Played like a juiced up dirty asshole for years in the NFL and then in an interview claimed that he regretted everything he did while calling himself the best. Fucking idiot. Then he was offended when he was not considered for the head coaching job of the Denver Broncos. I must add that I think he was a great linebacker.

4. Joakim Noah - See Bobby's post.

5. Tim Tebow - I like watching Tebow play and nobody could possibly doubt his ability or call him overrated. I would say it is the media's obsession with him that I hate. Tebow went to Africa and took pictures with kids... Superman wears Tebow boxers to bed... Tebow wants to do the right thing and finish school and be the best college football player ever... Fuck you, Bo Jackson was better. Good football player, good person on paper, probably a tool in person. I could be wrong but then that would be a first.

Honorable Mention: Isiah Thomas, Derek Jeter, Mark Teixera, Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens (used to love the guy), John Parker Wilson, Demetrius Byrd, Jason White, Matt Leinhart, John Smoltz (God help me but his shoulder was apparently fine when the Red Sox offered him 5.5 mil), Tyler Hansbrough, Chris Lofton, Chris Todd, Adam Jones, and anyone who has any affiliation with "The Ohio State University"

I'm sure I am forgetting somebody important.
